چکیده
Abstract The objective of this work was to validate the enzymatic activity in Annona x atemoyaseeds submitted treatments with plant growth regulators belonging group gibberellins and cytokinins for overcoming dormancy during germination process. Initially, water acquisition curve determined, where two points phase II (72 144 hours) were determined evaluate superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) catalase (CAT) enzymes atemoya seeds after application regulators. Treatments GA resulted higher SOD enzyme, which may be favored percentage speed comparison control treatment. In cases enzyme presented high activity, other showed opposite, indicates predominantly production superoxides period. POD also has treated gibberellin, suggests interaction ROS process overcoming. cytokinin + gibberellin similar no pattern SOD, CAT that could correlated metabolism observed.

Anti-angiogenic potential of an ethanol extract of Annona atemoya seeds in vitro and in vivo
BACKGROUND Angiogenesis, which is initiated by certain tumor micro-environmental conditions and diverse protein factors, plays a pivotal role during tumor development and metastasis. Therefore, many efforts have been made to develop effective anti-angiogenic agents as anticancer therapeutics. In the current study, we investigated the anti-angiogenic potential of an ethanol extract of Annona ate...
متن کاملResponse of Germination and Seedling Growth of Pepper cultivars to Seed Priming by Plant Growth Regulators
In order to study the germination and growth of pepper seeds, a factorial experiment based on a completely randomized design with three replications was conducted. The first factor was consisting of five cultivars of pepper (Marquiza, Cadia, California Wonder, California Wonder 310 and California Wonder 300) and the second factor was gibberellic acid with three levels (0 as control, 250 and 500...
متن کاملImprovement of Rooting in Forsythia × intermedia Cuttings by Plant Growth Regulators
Asexual propagation through cuttings is an appropriate method used for most ornamental plants. Success in increasing the percentage of rooting, reducing root emergence and increasing proliferation efficiency depends on several factors like plant growth regulators, especially auxins. Rooting of Forsythia × intermedia is difficult and requires specific hormonal treatments and proper cultivation b...
متن کاملPlant Growth Regulators
Plant growth regulators are hormone-like chemicals that occur naturally in plants, and play a central role in their growth and development. Five major classes of plant growth regulators have been identified as plant hormones, but scientists believe that there are more waiting to be discovered. The five growth hormones include auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, abscisic acid, and ethylene. Collec...
متن کاملSunflower morphology and yield as affected by foliar applications of plant growth regulators
Plant height of sunflower is a major agronomic trait affecting crop performance in the field and its adaptation to mechanical harvest. Field experiments were conducted to study the effect of foliar application of paclobutrazol (PBZ) at 12.5 g ai/ha, mepiquat chloride (MPC) at 25.0 g ai/ha and chlormequat chloride (CCC) at 1,500 g ai/ha in single or double applications on sunflower plant mor...
